报告题目:Distributed Observer Based Cooperative Control of Microgrids

报告摘要:The emergence of microgrids with the penetration of renewable energy sources has brought new opportunities for modern power system, as well as challenges. On one hand, microgrids have shown their capabilities in many aspects, such as renewable energy integration, power quality improvement, and so on. On the other hand, in consideration of the multitude, low inertia and intermittent power supply of the distributed generators, novel scheduling paradigms and control frame work are expected. The distributed observer based approach has been proved to be an elegant and effective method to solve the cooperative control problem for leader-follower multi-agent system. In this talk, we will show how to utilize the distributed observer based approach to solve the power sharing issue of both islanded and grid-connected microgrids.

 

报告人简介He Cai received the B. Eng. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 2010 and the Ph. D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as a research fellow at School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Now he is a full professor with School of Automation, South China University of Technology. His research interests involve cooperative control of multi-agent systems and its applications to mechanical and power system.
