1997年和2000年毕业于武汉水利电力大学(现武汉大学),分别获工学学士和工学硕士学位。2004年9月至2007年6月就读于武汉大学计算机学院,2007年6月获得计算机软件与理论专业工学博士学位。
2006年在香港城市大学电脑系任研究助理,2007年6月毕业后至福州大学计算机与大数据学院工作, 2016年晋升教授,期间于2014年4月至2015年2月赴美国阿拉巴马大学计算机科学系进行学术访问。是中国计算机学会杰出会员、IEEE高级会员、ACM会员,同时担任多个国际知名学术期刊编委。
