Talk Title:  My Exciting Ph.D Journey from NCTU to Silicon Hills (Austin)

报告时间:2017年3月23日,2:30pm-3:30pm

报告地点:数计学院2号楼309

Abstract:

This talk will introduce a journey to turn a research idea from a Ph.D study to an industrial software product. A successful software product not only needs a robust kernel engine/algorithm, but also needs to be easy extendable and maintainable. The talk will mention the resistance to run a new project in company, the difficulty to convince customers to accept your new solutions, and the headache to maintain a tool. In addition, the speaker will share his career path and abroad working experience in electronic design automation (EDA) academia/industry.
